Unreality3D Quick Start Guide

🎁 Download U3D Template - complete Unity project, ready to customize:

• Pre-configured Unity 6+ WebGL project
• Customizable networked character controller included
• Multiplayer, interactivity, and monetization tools built in
• Automated setup of your own GitHub repo and Pages
• Automated sharing to Unreality3D.com/YourName/ProductName

(Just need the latest? Click Update in the in-Unity Creator Dashboard or visit U3D Template Releases)

Unzip and open the template project from Unity Hub with version 6+ installed:

• Unzip the downloaded u3d-template-main file
• Rename and move the subfolder to your Unity projects
• Open Unity Hub with version 6+ installed
• Choose Add → Add project from disk, then select and click to open your new project
• Unity editor opens pre-configured for U3D publishing

(Check File → Build Profiles to ensure Active build target is Web)

Reserve your creator name URL, enable publishing, and monetization:

• Go to the U3D menu → Creator Dashboard → Setup tab
• Sign up or Login, then reserve your Creator name
• (Optional) Add your PayPal email to turn on monetization tools
• Connect a (free) GitHub account for publishing

(New to GitHub? No problem! You just start the account - we help you through the rest)

Build a unique experience with the wide array of Project Tools:

• Explore the demo scene in Project → U3D → U3D_Demo to see and try platform features in action

(The demo scene is only a sample. Delete it whenever you like, with no effect on the rest of your project)

• Replace or add to the beautiful default scene in Project → Scenes → _My Scene
• Add interactivity, gamification, and monetization with a single click via the U3D menu → Creator Dashboard → Project Tools tab
• Use the pre-configured character controls, or customize via Project → U3D → Prefabs
• Save and press Play to test

Go live with one-click publishing:

• Go to the U3D menu → Creator Dashboard → Publish tab
• Follow Create New Repository steps or select the published product to update
• Click "Make It Live!" at the bottom of Publish tab
• Your product builds locally and publishes automatically to your own GitHub repo

Get your professional URL and start sharing:

• Creator Dashboard → Publish tab shows your live URL when publishing completes
• Your secure URL: https://Unreality3D.com/YourName/ProductName/
• Share on social media, with friends, or link it from your own website

(Your experience is a web page like any other, so it can be embedded in a site you control with a little HTML.)

• Start fresh or update anytime from the Creator Dashboard → Publish tab

Update thumbnails, descriptions, and discovery settings for your published experiences:

• Access your Creator Dashboard webpage to manage all your products
• Upload custom thumbnails to make your content stand out
• Update descriptions and visibility settings
• Track your professional URLs and repository status

Stay current with the latest features and improvements:

• ✔️ Up to date! or an Update button appears at the top of the Creator Dashboard in Unity whenever you open your U3D project or click the Reset Startup Setup button
• Alternatively: visit U3D Template Releases to download updates manually
• Download update packages to add new features without losing your custom content
• Follow the detailed update instructions provided with each release
